Seibers visits Clarksville Speedway Victory Lane in Late Model

David Seibers picked up his first win of the 2021 season on Saturday night at Clarksville Speedway.

Seibers piloted his G.P.S. Motorsports No. 18 S.M.S. Plumbing/ Frisky Motorsports/ Black Diamond Race Car/ Pro Power Racing Engines Super Late Model to the victory.

“Our Black Diamond Chassis and this new Pro Power Racing Engine were on point tonight,” said Seibers. “I can’t thank my crew and our great sponsors enough for their continued support. We didn’t have the best start to the season; it’s great to turn that around and get that first win. I’m looking forward to this weekend’s Toilet Bowl Classic.

Saturday night saw David Seibers return to action at Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway pulling double duty in the Late Model and Street Stock ranks. Topping the charts in Late Model time trials, Seibers locked into the pole position for the A-Main. Outrunning fellow front-row starter Jadon Frame, David cruised to his first win of the season over Frame, Richard Frost, Gavin Schmidt, and Joe Denby.

In a field of 26 Street Stocks for the QuickSilver Series sanctioned contest, David got behind the 8-Ball in time trials before placing sixth in his heat. Starting the $1,000-to-win A-Main in 18th, Seibers faded one spot to place 19th.

This weekend, Seibers will return to Clarksville Speedway for the 17th Annual Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic. The doubleheader boasts a $3,000 top prize for Super Late Models on Friday, March 12 while $5,000 will be up for grabs in Saturday’s finale.
