David Seibers Lands 6th Place Finish in Toilet Bowl Classic Opener at Clarksville
On Friday evening both David and Michael Seibers invaded Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee) kicking off the two-day Tuckassee Toilet Bowl Classic. Drawing 25 Super Late Models, David secured his spot into the opening night feature with the fourth fastest lap overall in time trials. With $3,000 on the line, Seibers was battling for a podium spot early in the 25-lapper until encountering lapped-traffic, which dropped him back to a 6th place finish. (Josh James Artwork)
Michael followed up the third fastest lap in a field 11 Crate Late Models with a 3rd place finish in the feature trailing Clayton Miller and Dalton Hood to the checkers with Elvin Sawyer and Brandon Tibaldi rounding out the Top-5.
Returning on Saturday afternoon for the $5,000 top prize, David locked his spot into the finale with fifth fastest lap overall in qualifying. Falling short of a Top-10 finish in the feature, Seibers slipped back to a 12th place finish in the 30-lap affair.
Later that evening, Michael came in second fastest in time trials before improving one spot in the 15-lap feature to place 2nd behind Clayton Miller with Elvin Sawyer, Matthew Rollins, and Charlie Howell completing the Top-5 finishers.
